WHAT WE COLLECT
What we collect
What you send us: your name and contact details, your curriculum vitae, your covering note, the references you choose to give, and anything else you include. If we speak, we keep notes on the conversation and on our assessment against the work in question.
We may look at what you have made public professionally, for example a public profile or published work. We do not search your private life, and we do not ask for data we have no use for.
LAWFUL BASIS
Why we are allowed to
For an application to a role, the basis is the steps taken at your request before a contract, together with our legitimate interest in choosing well. For an application to the network, it is the same interest and the steps before an engagement agreement.
Please leave out data you have not been asked for, in particular health information, trade union membership, and anything about political or religious conviction. If you send it anyway, we delete it rather than read it into the assessment.
WHO SEES IT
Who sees it
Applications are read by the founder. Where a role or an engagement involves a client, we do not show your application to that client without asking you first. Our email and storage providers process the material on our instructions and for no purpose of their own.
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS
Work under security vetting
Some engagements sit inside security sensitive activity and require vetting under Swedish law. That process is run by the client or by the authority responsible, not by us, and it is described to you before anything starts. We never run a background check on you without saying so.
RETENTION
How long we keep it
If we do not take your application further, we keep it for 24 months after the recruitment is closed, and then delete it. If you would rather we deleted it sooner, say so and we will.
If you ask us to keep you in mind for later, we hold your application on that basis until you tell us to stop, and we check back with you rather than let it sit indefinitely.
YOUR RIGHTS
Your rights
You have the same rights here as anywhere else: access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. The data subject rights policy explains how to use them. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten).
