WHY MOST SITES ASK
Why most sites ask
A consent banner exists because a site stores something on your device that it does not strictly need: an analytics cookie, an advertising identifier, a tag that follows you elsewhere. EU law says the site must ask first. We took the other route and removed the reason to ask.
WHAT WE USE INSTEAD
How we count visits
We use Plausible Analytics, an EU based service that measures traffic without cookies, without browser storage and without storing IP addresses. It records the page, where the visit came from, the browser, the operating system, the device type and the country.
It builds no persistent identifier, so the same person cannot be recognised tomorrow or on another device. What we get is a count of pages and referrers, which is all we need in order to know whether anything we write is being read.
STRICTLY NECESSARY
Technical storage
When you start filling in the contact form, the page fetches a short lived ticket that proves the submission came from this site. It lives in the browser's memory only. It is never written to a cookie or to local storage, and it is gone the moment you close the tab.
Storage that a site genuinely needs for a function you have asked for is permitted without consent. We have kept even that to a minimum, and nothing on this site outlives your visit.
EMBEDDED CONTENT
Content from elsewhere
Where a page embeds something from another service, such as a video or a map, that service can set its own cookies once the content loads. We avoid embeds for exactly this reason. Where one is genuinely needed, we name it here and load it only after you choose to. At present there is no such embed anywhere on the site.
The booking pages are no exception. The calendar is drawn by this site, and the times it shows are fetched by our own server from our booking system. Your browser never talks to another service, neither when you pick a time nor when you confirm. No cookie is set, nothing is kept in the browser, and the link to reschedule or cancel sits in your confirmation email rather than behind a login.

If we introduce anything that stores non essential data on your device, we will ask for your consent before it runs, we will make refusing as easy as accepting, and we will update this page first.
